In seeing Jesus as He walks the earth, we have the unthinkable gift of being able to look God in the face.

In the teaching portion on loving God with our mind, we’re looking at the importance of the knowledge of God and at God’s desire to reveal Himself to His creation.

Continuing our look at Jesus, we move on now to His ministry. We are looking this week at the remarkable way in which God chose to interact with men, and what it says about His heart toward His creation.
Continuing in a series on the person of Christ, we are looking this week at His birth. The life of Jesus is significant, not only for what He did, but for who He was. Considering the manner in which He came to us draws our attention to the Man and who He was: God with us.
We are starting a new series focused on the person of Christ – the goal being not to define His attributes or His work, but to encounter His heart and His person as we meditate on passages from the gospels.
This first week we’re looking at the eternally pre-existent Christ and what God was like “in the beginning.”
Week 3 we’re focusing on the central shift that is coming: God first. The reality that God is the author and object of all of creation. Tuesday night we focused on the worship movement and God’s desire to awaken hearts to His glory.

Week 2 we move on to the broader move of God – Christ preparing His Bride as He begins to call His church into her identity as His beloved and His friend.

The knowledge of God is the central crisis of our generation, and the raising up of a witness is God’s central mercy strategy for a generation where there is no knowledge of God. God is seeking burning ones – men and women who will give themselves to encountering God that they could bear witness to who He really is.
