Session 5 on Loving God: Loving God With All Your Mind – Beholding the Face of Christ
In the workshop part of this session, we’re looking at how to grow in the knowledge of God through meditating on the Scriptures and specifically on the accounts of the life of Jesus in the Gospels. In seeing Jesus as He walks the earth, we have the unthinkable gift of being able to look God in the face.

Continuing in a series on the person of Christ, we are looking this week at His birth. The life of Jesus is significant, not only for what He did, but for who He was. Considering the manner in which He came to us draws our attention to the Man and who He was: God with us.
(Primary scriptures: Luke 2:8-14; Matthew 1:22-23)

We are starting a new series focused on the person of Christ – the goal being not to define His attributes or His work, but to encounter His heart and His person as we meditate on passages from the gospels.
This first week we’re looking at the eternally pre-existent Christ and what God was like “in the beginning.”
(Primary scriptures: John 1:1-5, Proverbs 8:30-31, Genesis 1, Psalm 45)
